Hi,
I am a complete and utter beginner, I have played golf once and not very well!!! I would like to make it a hobby, I just need to meet more beginners like myself.

Hi Tarnaway,
I am also new to golf and am very keen to learn quickly. I have started a new job and nearly all my colleagues play and so far I feel a bit of an outsider. They also have weekends away playing golf and an annual competition.I need to improve QUICKLY!!!

Welcome to the site Tarnaway. I hope that we can provide everything that you need to help you in your new hobby. I haven't been playing long myself and am very much a beginner. I quickly realised that the best quality I needed was patience. It's a hard game to play, but when you hit a ball well, there's (almost) no feeling like it.
