Hi Michael,
As I have said elsewhere on this forum, I don't play golf, but because my work colleagues do, I have to learn. Money is tight at the moment so I can't afford many lessons or membership of a golf club. Are there any books/DVD's etc that you can recommend for me to read, and if so will this help. Also I can't hit the ball nearly as far as my colleagues. They keep telling me to slow my swing down and it will go further, but surely physics dictate that the harder you hit the ball, the further it will go?

Hi Michael. It's a brilliant idea to have experts that you can contact on a forum like this. I have a few questions for you, but I'll post them on the appropriate section of teh forum.
Peter, I think that Michael will back me up here, but there isn't a shortcut to learning how to play golf by reading books or watching DVD's, although these methods will help in some way, it is not a substitute for learning from a Pro at a club.
