I am new to golf and have bought a cheap set of clubs, bag etc etc. I bought that much in one go that the shop gave me a second hand putter for free. I don't know what make it is, it just looks like a traditional normal putter.
However I have seen some putters with holes in them in order to carry out putting drills. Are these putters worth investing in and how much should I look at paying I don't play in competitions and as I say I am just learning to play. Someone has told me that the putters with holes in cannot be used for a game of golf, but are only for practicing is this the case
Can anyone recommend a putter for me

Hi Peter
Thank you for your participation in the forum at Play Great golf. My Name is Michael and i am your PGA Golf Professional, on hand to give you free advise.
I think you are talking about the Zen Oracle putter. As a golf coach i find it the best training aid in the world for learning and teaching people how to putt. I can also say that they are legal to be used within a round of golf and have other technolgies within the product. You can look to pay form £99.00 for this product and i can safely say that it is a safe investment.
